(I almost didn’t post this, because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to reveal to the world that I was eating a pile of Trader Joe’s mini pizzas for dinner.)
Bought some new pens after work today. New art supplies do a pretty good job of taking away the winter blahs.
There are so many amazing artists sharing their work on Tumblr. So whenever I’m frustrated with my own work, or in a bad mood, looking at everybody’s work just sends me into a week-long frustrated jealousy spiral….

First slice of 2013: pesto, artichoke, and feta pizza from Big Mario’s.
Widely considered one of the city’s best by-the-slice pizza spots, Big Mario’s is an historic Seattle landmark, and a fitting way to start the new year. Right now I’m two and a half slices into 2013, and I can already tell that this year’s gonna be a good one.

In honor of this milestone, I present to you a remake of the very first Drawing on Pizza. That was back when this blog was going to be nothing but terrible drawings of Shrek on pizza. It’s come a long way since then. Kinda.
